A devotional youth never forget.
A live demonstration using a broke horse and a wild horse illustrates trust, surrender, and our relationship with the Savior. As the horse yields to guidance, youth see how God shapes us into who we’re meant to become.

A first-time experience many youth will never forget.
For some youth, this may be their very first time riding a horse—and there’s no better place to experience it. We provide a brief, hands-on training to help riders feel comfortable, confident, and safe before they mount.
Our horses are well trained, gentle, and experienced with youth, and they take great care of their riders. This activity is both memorable and confidence-building, often becoming one of the most talked-about highlights of camp, only option in Utah for youth groups.

Swell Retreat is a faith-friendly youth camp designed to make planning easy for leaders and unforgettable for youth. Located in a private, scenic setting, everything is in one place—allowing youth groups to focus on connection, growth, and fun without the stress of logistics.
There are two recreational lakes to choose from: north or south. They come with zipline (north side only), ninja course (south side only), floating islands, waterslides, kayaks, paddle boards, fishing, and swimming, along with beaches, pavilions, fire pits, and wide-open spaces for play.
Ground activities include volleyball, tetherball, soccer nets, cornhole, horseshoes, ladder ball, trampolines, and over 5 miles of mountain bike and walking trails through pine trees.
Meaningful moments happen naturally in our outdoor amphitheater, nestled among pines with natural acoustics, a large stage, ambient lighting, and a fire pit—perfect for devotionals, skits, testimony nights, outdoor movies, dance nights, and faith walks.
Youth groups may also experience the Hearts & Horses Devotional, a powerful live demonstration using horses to illustrate trust, surrender, and our relationship with the Savior.
Comfortable campsites (north side) and lodging options (south side - glamping tents and/or cabins) make it easy to arrive, set up, and begin enjoying the adventure right away. Campsites are equipped with hammocks, picnic tables, cooking stations, water access, ambient lighting, and fire pits.
Optional add-on activities such as horseback riding, axe throwing, archery, disc golf, and UTV rentals allow each group to customize their experience. A convenient camp store provides essentials, souvenirs, snacks, and ice cream at normal retail pricing, along with activity bookings.
We offer a youth discount for one hour of service per full day during your stay.
