SWELL Horse Club is a six-week youth experience where kids build real horsemanship and riding skills while developing confidence, emotional strength, leadership, connection, and resilience.
 
Designed for youth ages 7–12, each two-hour session combines hands-on learning with horses and the principles of the SWELL Foundation.
 
Each Week Includes
🐎 RIDE
Build balance, communication, confidence, and riding skills in a safe, encouraging environment.
🐴 HORSEMANSHIP
Learn horse safety and care, grooming, handling, groundwork, and how horses communicate.

Through experiential activities with horses, kids explore:
S — Self Mastery
Understanding ourselves, our emotions, and how we respond to the world around us.
W — Wellness
Building physical, emotional, mental, spiritual, and relational well-being.
E — Emotional Strength
Learning to recognize emotions, regulate, work through challenges, and grow.
L — Leadership
Learning to lead ourselves first while developing confidence, communication, and positive influence.
L — Love & Service
Learning how to create safe herds where people belong, contribute, help one another, and thrive.
 
How Horse Club Works:
To provide plenty of hands-on time and individual attention, the club is limited to 12 youth. Participants will work in three small groups of four, rotating through riding, horsemanship, and SWELL experiences.
No previous horse experience is necessary.
Fall 2026 Session
Tuesdays | 4:00–6:00 PM
September 22 – October 27, 2026
6 consecutive weeks
Ages: 7–12
Tuition: $270 per participant ($45/session)
Registration includes a SWELL Horse Club shirt!
Registration is for the entire six-week program. Because skills, confidence, relationships, and trust build from week to week, participants are asked to commit to attending all six sessions.

At SWELL, we believe some of life's greatest lessons can be learned alongside a horse.
This isn't just about becoming a better rider.
It's about helping kids discover that as they learn to communicate with a horse, work through challenges, build trust, and become more confident in the saddle, they're also learning something incredibly important:
how to better understand and lead themselves.

Program Tuition & ValueThe true value of the six-week SWELL Horse Club experience is $700+ per participant, based on comparable riding instruction, horsemanship experiences, small-group facilitation, Horse Guided Empowerment programming, and included program materials.
 
As a youth program of the SWELL Foundation, we want meaningful experiences with horses to be accessible to more families.

Your $270 registration includes:
-12 hours of small-group programming

Full tuition is due at registration and reserves your child's place for all six weeks.
 
Because only nine youth are accepted into each Horse Club session, registration represents a commitment to the entire six-week experience.
Missed sessions are not refundable or transferable.
Our goal isn't simply to teach kids how to ride.
It's to give them a place to belong, horses to learn alongside, and skills they can carry with them long after they leave the saddle.
