Hearts & Horses: Business & Leadership Retreat is a three-day immersive experience designed to help you turn the mirror toward the person behind the business: You. Through horses, experiential challenges, meaningful conversations, reflection, and time away from the demands of everyday life, you'll have the opportunity to recognize patterns that may be influencing the way you lead, communicate, make decisions, build relationships, and execute. THE HORSE BECOMES THE TEACHER
This isn't about learning to be a cowboy or cowgirl. And you don't need any previous horse experience. Horses respond to what's happening in the moment. They notice pressure, energy, boundaries, communication, consistency, confidence, hesitation, and connection in ways that can be difficult for us to see in ourselves. That makes them remarkable mirrors. Instead of simply talking about leadership, you'll have opportunities to experience yourself as a leader—and get curious about what shows up. Pressure reveals patterns. Behavior is a message. Awareness gives us choice.

Horse-Guided Leadership Experiences
Work with horses from the ground as they help reveal patterns around pressure, communication, boundaries, connection and leadership.
Horseback Riding
Get out of your head and into the experience as you learn to communicate, trust and lead in an entirely different environment.
Archery Practice focus, presence, adjustment and the relationship between intention and execution.
Axe Throwing Have some fun while experiencing what happens when focus, pressure, frustration, adjustment and persistence enter the equation.
Outdoor Experiences at Swell Retreat Step away from your normal environment, slow down and create space to think differently about yourself, your leadership and what you're building.
No previous experience is required for horseback riding, archery or axe throwing. We'll teach you what you need to know.
Some experiences will challenge you. Some will help you slow down. Some will simply be fun. And some may reveal something about yourself you didn't expect.
We aren't just going to talk about who you are under pressure. We're going to give you opportunities to discover it.

Investment includes the retreat programming and facilitated experiences, including horse-guided experiences, horseback riding, archery and axe throwing and meals.
Investment: $1,997 per person
Space will be intentionally limited to preserve the depth, connection and experiential nature of the retreat.

Shared lodging in a bunk cabin - sleeps up to 11; bedding included.
***Off-grid glamping for lodging at Swell Retreat: no power, no HVAC, porta potties, and outdoor private shower OR shower at Swimming Pool 1.5 miles away.
If you prefer off-site lodging: Castle Dale, Orangeville, Huntington and Ferron are good locations.
